Board of Directors
Operation Bootstrap has a fully functional Board of Directors composed of volunteers from the Greater Lynn Community. The individuals represent a diverse segment of the Greater Lynn population. As a community based non-profit organization, it is required to comply with all applicable federal laws and regulations of the commonwealth and the local jurisdiction. The Executive Director reports directly to the Board of Directors and its officers. The key areas of governance include:
- Legal Compliance and Public Disclosure
- Effective Governance
- Strong Financial Oversight
- Responsible Fundraising
The board bears the primary responsibility for ensuring that the organization fulfills its obligations to the law, its donors, its staff and volunteers, its clients and the public at large. The board meets monthly, the third Wednesday of each month.
There are four Standing Committees: Audit, Building, Strategic Planning and Fund Development committees. These committees meet periodically throughout the year. A listing of the current officers is posted below:
