Operation Bootstrap is an Adult Education Center funded, in part, by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) division of Adult and Community Learning Services (ACLS). The center is located at 156 Broad Street in Lynn, MA.

Operation Bootstrap provides educational services to adults 16 years of age and older, without a high school diploma or with a diploma but reading below the ninth-grade level, and/or adults who need to improve their English language skills to succeed in our communities.

Adult Basic Education – (ABE) is an umbrella term used to describe a range of educational services for adults seeking basic literacy, including English for non-native speakers of English, numeracy and high school equivalency (GED).

The program operates year round and is free of charge for individuals 16 years and older.
